It refers to how we say sounds and words. It includes our articulators (oral structures), voice and fluency.

What is a Speech-Language Pathologist?
A speech-language pathologist (SLP) or specialist, is an expert in the area of communication. SLPs can work with people of all ages offering evaluations and treatments in several aspects of communication and swallowing (ASHA, n.d.).
What is an Audiologist?
Expert that can help prevent, identify and treat auditory differences and equilibrium in people of all ages.
